Recently, rising market demand has led to increasing shortages and significant price hikes in key upstream raw materials such as glass fabric and copper foil. Accordingly, per company notification, effective immediately (August 19, 2026), material prices will be adjusted as follows:

Many PCB manufacturers have likely received this message from Kingboard over the past two days—yes, FR-4 laminates and PP have increased in price again.

As of August 19, 2026, Kingboard has raised FR-4 prices ten times consecutively. Reviewing price adjustments over the past year:

+10% each in August and December 2025 (twice), and four consecutive +10% increases between March and May 2026,

followed by +15% increases in June and July 2026, and the most recent +10% hike.

With cumulative compounding, the current price is approximately 2.83 times the initial price, representing an overall increase of 183.49%. This latest adjustment is primarily driven by supply shortages and sharply rising costs of upstream raw materials, including fiberglass cloth and copper foil.
